I finally got around to posting my SciMas photos. Nearly every bulb and doodad is granted it’s own portrait. We weren’t able to complete every idea we had for the tree, but luckily there is another SciMas next year!

    Some other ideas for your tree: prisms to cast the spectrum of visible light, Gallileo’s glass thermometer, and I think a mobile with dangly bits that represent something like: C6H12O6+6O2=6CO2+6H2O+Energy (photosynthesis) would look really cool.

    The prism is a great idea! As to the molecule, we’re already on it. While this year’s tree only had a water molecule we had planned to include a Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) molecule and a glucose molecule!
