These are great, really, I mean great. Not only can you have them on the back of your bike, but they are actually really comfortable to carry. And yes, they look ok too. Lots of pockets and great padding to protect things like cameras. Super Bags, and worth every cent.

I have a full set of Arkel panniers and a handlebar bag. They are really incredible, Well designed, well made, worth every cent. The Bug sounds excellent for the urban cyclist.

Oooo the Ospreys are nice bags. I hadn't seen there courier style bags before and I gotta say I'm more partial to the smaller Astro. As I mentioned, I've got my eye out for a smaller over the shoulder man-purse-ish bag. Still this one seems slightly larger than I'm looking for.

Hi. My name is Whistler and I’m a bag whore. I can’t help but looking for a new laptop bag or a new messenger bag or some kind of bag to hold my crap. I am currently using a Osprey Transit. It’s a nice roomy bag that will fit my 17″ PowerBook and my Olympus E-500 and a whole bunch of other crap. Don’t worry. I”m looking for something new now. I need a good backback for biking and hiking that will protect my camera. I”m not fashionable, but me loves the bags.

Yes Chrome does make nice looking and well-built bags.

Speaking of belt buckles, I was really digging the look of the All The Kings Men bags with the airline belt buckle. They’re pretty but damn are they pricey. Note the prices shown on the site are in Australian so knock about 14% off that, but even so it’s high — plus there’s the international delivery cost.

My current bag is the Chrome Soma. I think it's the best bag I've ever owned. The only gripes I have with it is it's not water proof 100% (fixed that mostly with some sewing mods), not enough zipped up pockets, and it just barely fits my 15" MacBook Pro. Other then that I love the thing to death, can't go back once I got a taste of the belt buckle. Looks like since I've started cycling, that I'm more with the school of not having all that much stuff attached to your bike. The only attachments on it right now are a clip for a light and a clip for my GPS. Bick lock goes in my bag. I'm thinking it's time I do another what the fuck is in my bag post.
